The location is quite remote, surrounded by mountains and natural waterfalls. The room is spacious with traditional tatami mats and a private onsen on the patio. The staff is polite and helpful, providing excellent service. The Kaiseki dinner and breakfast served in the room are extensive and of excellent quality.
Limited accessibility from the train station.

We had an amazing time during our romantic escape to this authentic Japanese inn surrounded by lush mountains and natural waterfalls. The private onsen was the best part, perfect to enjoy our time together without any disturbance. The room was spacious and had a traditional Japanese layout with comfortable tatami mats. The staffs were super friendly and always happy to help us with everything. The Kaiseki-style dinner and breakfast were a must-try, and we were impressed by the healthy and natural ingredients used in the preparation.
The hotel is a bit remote, and we had some trouble finding it. The lack of accessibility from the train station was a bit inconvenient.

Located in a serene, remote area surrounded by mountains and natural waterfalls, this authentic Japanese ryokan offers a peaceful onsen getaway. The spacious tatami room includes a private onsen on a patio, allowing for a truly traditional experience. The friendly and polite staff, like our private butler, provided excellent service, serving exquisite kaiseki meals in the room. With various public baths, including a rooftop one, and comfortable futons, this ryokan ensures a comfortable stay. The added convenience of a nearby pediatrician is also a plus.
The lack of accessibility from the train station may require expensive taxi fares or the need to hire a car.

Spent a wonderful New Year's Eve at a traditional Japanese hotel located near waterfalls and surrounded by mountains. Enjoyed delicious and extensive meals served in our room by helpful and polite staff. Loved the private onsen, complete with a stone bathtub, that gave us the chance to relax and unwind after a long day. The huge room, with its traditional tatami layout, made it feel like we were experiencing authentic Japanese culture. Very happy with the experience.
The remote location of the hotel meant that it was not easily accessible from the nearest train station. hiring a car can be expensive and is necessary to explore the surrounding areas.

The room was spacious and had traditional Japanese decor. We enjoyed the private onsen, which was a relaxing addition to our weekend. Additionally, the meals were delicious and prepared with healthy ingredients.
Getting to the hotel from the train station was a hassle. Taxis were expensive and there weren't many public transportation options available.
